Color Club Worth the Risque

Happy Halloween!! My post today isn't very Halloween-ish but check out the links below for Halloween collection swatches!

It's Alive
Haunting Pumpkin Spce
China Glaze Haunting Collection
Zom-body To Love
Enjoy! Now on to today's post:

Today's post is a holographic color!

Color Club Worth the Risque. 2 coats. Silver holographic microglitter. I've been looking for this color for a while and I ended up finding one last bottle at my nail polish place. I've actually wanted a silver holographic for a while and I'm so glad I found this. Its really pretty and pictures don't do it justice, its much more vibrant and holographic in person. Yay for holographic polishes!

Currently on my nails: Revlon Facets of Fuchsia

Today's current manicure is a color I've been looking for forever and I could never find. I randomly decided to go to Target to pick up some non-cosmetic stuff but of course I went by the cosmetics section and I found it! It was the last bottle!! Anyways, here's my current manicure:

Revlon Facets of Fuchsia. Basecoat, 1 coat Black Creme (Wet 'n Wild), 2 coats FOF on top, Seche Vite Topcoat. Black jelly base with mini and hex fuchsia glitter. I finally found it!!! I got so excited. I've wanted this color forever. I actually wanted this color when Deborah Lippmann came out with it but I refused to spend $18 for Bad Romance. This is an almost exact dupe for Bad Romance and it cost me less than $4. SCORE! It looks so pretty. I'm in love.

China Glaze Snow Globe

Today is sadly the color from the Let it Snow collection.

Bottle picture of China Glaze Snow Globe.

Snow Globe over Holly-Day. Opal/pastel glitter in a clear base. this is really a cool layering color. Its beautiful. Its way too sheer to wear on its own but over other things its beautiful. Can't wait to try different combinations!

I hope you liked the colors I got from the Let it Snow collection. I didn't get the rest of the reds from this collection because I feel like I wouldn't get much use out of them. The collection over all was a huge hit. I love most of the colors! I would love all of them if reds actually looked good on me. Thanks for reading!

China Glaze Tinsel Town + A Comparison

More delicious glitter from Let it Snow:

China Glaze. Tinsel Town. Sheer blue-toned grey base loaded with blue-toned silver glitter. This is not a color I was expecting in a holiday collection but its beautiful so I definitely don't mind! When I first saw it, It reminded me of Milani Silver Dazzle so I figured I'd compare the two:

You can't even really see much of a difference here....

Milani Silver Dazzle on the pointer and ring fingers
Tinsel Town on the middle and pinky.

They are definitely close but they are also different. I feel like Silver Dazzle is more of a purple-grey toned silver whereas Tinsel Town is more blue-toned. Both gorgeous colors I feel like they're different enough to merit owning both. yep.

Currently on my nails: Haunting + Pumpkin Spice

Yay! Halloween Nails!

China Glaze Haunting as a base (2 coats) with Sally Hansen Pumpkin Spice on top (1 coat). Haunting is a black base with silver glitter. Check out my review here. Pumpkin Spice is a sheer black base loaded with orange glitter. How very Halloween of Sally Hansen. I love the combo. You can't see the silver glitter from Haunting in the picture, but in person its definitely visible. My nails are ready for Monday! :)

China Glaze Twinkle Lights

Christmas themed multi-glitter is today's color from Let it Snow

China Glaze Twinkle Lights. 3 coats. Gold, green and red glitter in a clear base. Holy Christmas glitter, batman! I have a lot of pictures of this one because I love this. Its so beautiful. I can't wait to wear this. I will probably be wearing it off and on all the way from November until January. As much as I can get away with it, I will wear it.

Twinkle Lights over Holly-Day.

Gah! So beautiful!

SO excited for these! I love China Glaze and their colors. Their motto is 'Live in Color' and they're certainly living up to it with these upcoming colors. AWESOME.

Kinda excited about some of these colors... although it feels more like a fall collection than a spring collection... hmmm.... we'll see.

China Glaze Ring in the Red

Today's color is a red... now I don't normally do reds but I liked this color when I saw it

China Glaze Ring in the Red. 3 coats. Sheer pinkish-red jelly base loaded with tiny and medium red glitter. Its a very pretty color, but I'm not too partial to reds normally so I'm not sure about this color yet. I don't know if I'm going to actually wear this on my fingers but my toes will definitely get great use of this color. I do like the fact that its sheer enough to layer... I feel like I'm gonna get use of this a lot during the holidays.

China Glaze Glittering Garland

More from Let It Snow!!

China Glaze. Glittering Garland. 3 coats. Dark green jelly base with gold and green microglitter. Its almost like a glass fleck nail polish but not quite. I love this color. I don't even know what to even say about this color other than I love it. Its just perfect!

More from Let It Snow in the next few days!

China Glaze Icicle

More from the Let It Snow China Glaze collection:

China Glaze Icicle. 3 coats. Beautiful shimmery silver foil. I have a couple of other silvers but nothing quite like this one. Beautiful color. I couldn't stop staring at it when I swatched it. I wanted to keep this one on. I like that this collection has a lot more than just reds and greens and the usual holiday/Christmas colors. This is definitely a win. Good job, CG!

Currently on my nails: A repeat of a recent mani

I'm aware that I already have a blog post about this color here, but I love this color so much and I really wanted to wear it that I figured I would do another post about it.

Sunlight
Shade
OPI My Private Jet. Charcoal brownish-grey with silver/holo glitter. I really like this color. Like I said in the old post, this is the "new" version of MPJ. The old one was apparently very holographic but I love this version with its subtle holo flashes. I'm in love. Yep.

...and a mandatory bottle picture. You can see the holographic sparkle.

China Glaze Blue Year's Eve

Another new China Glaze color from the Let it Snow collection today:

Blue Year's Eve 3 coats. Sparkly blue shimmery/glassy color. It reminds me of a blue version of Zoya Ivanka. It has that same glass flecks effect that is beautiful in sunlight.

OPI Warm and Fozzie + Current Mani and Pedi

Today's post is another color from the Muppet's collection plus my current manicure.

OPI Warm and Fozzie. 3 coats. Bronzey/Copper shimmery glitter with red and gold glitter. This color reminds me of Thanksgiving and will definitely be wearing it on that day. I like it because its a fall glitter and its not too overpoweringly sparkly.

Here's my current mani. I wanted something a little toned-down:

OPI Dulce de Leche with OPI Warm and Fozzie accent nail. 2 coats each. Like I said before, I wanted something toned down and Dulce de Leche is a perfect neutral for my skin tone but I didn't want just Dulce de Leche so I figured Warm and Fozzie would be glittery accent color. I really like this combination!

And now a picture of my feet (haha!):

OPI Paint my Moji-toes Red (1 coat) with OPI Divine Swine (2 coats) on top. Pretty and glittery, yes? Yes. I like it!

I'll be continuing my China Glaze Holiday collection swatches in the next few days... I also have one more new Muppet's collection color to post :) Check back!
