Urban Decay Theodora Palette Swatches and Review

Hey guys!

Another palette for Disney Week. Today I'll be featuring the Theodora Palette from Urban Decay

Broken - Creamy color with a minimal sheen. Gorgeous color for highlight
Beware - Matte milk chocolate color. Really smooth and easy to work with. Beautiful transition color!
Bewitch - Chocolate brown shimmer
West - Burnt plum/brown
Spell - Half Gold w/ gold glitter and half Dark brown with green glitter
Jealous - Dark Green and Light Green

Overall, I love this palette. This is a gorgeous palette for neutrals, but you can use the greens to add a pop of color. I love that the colors pop out of palette so the colors can be put in other palettes or they do fit in the Urban Decay make your own palette they sell. The formula is super buttery and smooth on these colors, even on the completely matte Beware. Great palette! I love this!

Cinderella Storylook Palette - Swatches and Review!

Hey everyone!!

To continue the theme of Disney Week to celebrate the release of Disney Parks Beautifully Disney makeup line, here is swatches and a review of the Cinderella Storylook Palette by Sephora! (Check out swatches of the volume 2 Jasmine Palette Here)

Such gorgeous packaging!!

My favorite thing... it comes out completely!

Maiden is a metallicy magenta
All Aglow is a light copper
Destined is one of my favorites from this palette. Its a gorgeous light blue with a strong golden shimmer.... almost a duochrome

Cinderelly (I can't help but singing this song when I see this name). This is the only color in this palette thats kind of disappointing. Its a really beautiful seafoam green matte, but it isn't spectacularly pigmented. It works well to try to build up, but it isn't pigmented at all from the get go
Pumpkin Coach is a really pretty creamy matte color with some glitter

Ballgown is a pretty shimmery white
Kill Joy metallic dark silver
Fairy Godmother Satin-type finish periwinkle blue
Glass Slipper Shimmery baby blue
Royal matte royal blue

This is my favorite row of shadows
GusGus Metallic gold
Charming  Metallic creamy color. Best highlight and inner corner color for me in this palette.
Chateau Metallic medium brown
Palace Metallic nude - nice lid color
Drizella Bronze. This is definitely one of my favorites in this palette. Great lid color for me!

Cinders This is a gorgeous black with gold glitter
Jaq Metallic taupe.
Midnight Blackened blue with light blue glitter
A Wish matte highlight off-white color
Rococo Shimmery burgundy

Not the best picture, but I used Charming in the inner corner and browbone, Palace all over the lid, and Rococo in the outer V and crease

Overall I love this (and the Jasmine) palette. The colors are so gorgeous! This palette is really good for neutrals, smoky, and metallic neutrals whereas the Jasmine palette is more colorful.

Staying Power:
I wore the Jasmine Palette yesterday and had my eye look on for a good 16 hours, and when I got home, my look was still intact despite work in the morning and a long day at Disneyland which included seeing World of Color from the front and getting soaked. I did wear it over a Color Tattoo, but even with that other shadows rub of, but these shadows stayed strong. I'm loving the staying power of these palettes!!!

Jasmine Storylook Palette - Review and Swatches

Today I have swatches of the Jasmine Storylook Palette from Sephora.

I'm a Disney nerd so I had to have this pallete, and I gotta say I love it more than the Cinderella one (as far as the colors). I will have swatches of Cinderella in a few days to continue with Disney week theme.

So, without anymore delay on to the pictures!

My Haul from Sephora :)

The Palette! Its so gorgeous!

The Makeup. BEAUTIFUL colors!

Blue Oasis is a almost matte baby blue with just a tiny, tiny hint of shimmer.
Trust Me is a beautiful metallic magenta
Abu is a taupey metallicy brown
Ali Ababwa (Its there, I promise!) Is a matte skin tone neutral color
Sultana is a neutral metallic with a pink undertone

Friend Like Me is a metallic blue.
Master Gorgeous purple!
Cosmic is my favorite from this palette, its a perfect rose gold metallic.
Cave of Wonders is a pretty yellow... don't know when I will ever use this though!
Sand in the Glass is a pretty shimmery creme color (its a cream color not white like the swatch)

Lapis- Matte turquoise (LOVE!)
Mystical Wonder (I know its spelled wrong... oops!) Is a more blue toned purple than master with some glitter in there
Rajah is a shimmery orange
Arabian Sunset. Coral with gold glitter. Its so pretty and I'm sure I'll use this a lot to brighten up the crease/transition area
Bazaar is a medium brown with a hint of sheen to it

Thrilling Chase. WOAH this bad boy is pigmented. A little bit will go a really long way for blush with this. Its a beautiful dusty rose with gold shimmer/fine glitter
Golden Sands. This is the "bronzer" of the palette. I would never use this as a bronzer. Its way too shimmery. I will probably use this as an eyeshadow, but I don't *think* it will work as a bronzer to me. I will have to try it before I absolutely knock it, but I don't think it will look good.

This is the eye look I got using this palette. I used Sand in the Glass in the tear duct area, Cosmic on the lid, Blue Oasis a little bit in the crease, and Friend Like Me in the Outer V/Crease area. I'm very happy with how this look turned out!!

I absolutely LOVE this palette and the Cinderella palette. I'm so happy I bought this. I will get so much use out of these colors and the blush. The packaging is the cutest ever and its Disney. It basically can do no wrong. Besides it being cute, the colors are so pigmented. The only one that's a little 'meh' is Blue Oasis... it swatched weird, but it works pretty well over a base
I hope you enjoyed this post! I will have a video up soon about this palette and my haul :)

Beautifully Disney- Swatches & Review

Hey everyone!

Today I have a post I'm super excited about. This morning I went to Disney Vault 28 at Downtown Disney at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim for the launch of Disney Park's new makeup line Beautifully Disney.

In case anyone wasn't aware, I'm a HUGE Disney nerd. Disney is one of my biggest obsessions (besides nail polish and cosmetics) So the fact that Disney itself was putting out a makeup line, well... I HAD to be there!

They let us come in about 10 am to start buying the products and I picked up 2 eyeshadow quads and all 8 nail polishes offered in this premiere collection called "Wickedly Beautiful"

Swatches of everything will be below, but first, I wanted to share some pictures of the event :)

The stuff in the window before we were let in to actually buy it. So pretty!

This was the set up inside. I totally want the mirror with the words across it!

The display of everything in the line.

Polish!!! ( I guess I was too excited because its blurry! oops!)

My Haul

And now on to the swatches!

Off To The Ball. 3 Coats. This is a milky baby blue color. This color is gorgeous and I love how this looks on my skin tone. It did need 3 coats for full even ness though. First 2 coats were a bit streaky. This is inspired by Cinderella.

Midnight Hour. 2 Coats. Blood red jelly. I really like this color, but its not unique. I don't really have too much to say about it other than it was easy to apply. I don't like how reds look on me, so I don't usually wear them. This is inspired by Lady Tremaine (Cinderella's Stepmother)

Enchanted Kiss. 2 Coats. This is a really gorgeous creamy bubblegum pink. This could have easily been a 1 coat color, but I chose to do to because I can! I usually don't like pinks, but this one is pretty! This is inspired by Aurora (Sleeping Beauty).

Mistress of Evil. 1 coat over Off To The Ball. This is a silver hex glitter in a clear base. Really pretty, and it wasn't that sparse. I did have to dot glitter on a couple of bald spots, but overall I feel like this is a pretty good glitter! The only reason I semi don't like this is because its supposed to be inspired by Maleficent, and I just don't see it! Maleficent is my favorite villain and I wish they would have done something different with it. Its still a pretty glitter and I'll definitely get use out of it!

Looking for my Prince. 1 coat. This is your basic cherry, fire engine red. Like I said above, I don't like reds so this color is kinda eh to me. (It is really easy to work with... 1 coat!!!). This is inspired by Snow White.

Just One Bite. 1 Coat over Enchanted Kiss. Fine and hex magenta glitter in a clear base. This is one of my favorites of this collection. Above is one coat and I didn't have to go back and touch up too many bald spots. Its awesome. It looks gorgeous over Enchanted Kiss and I have a feeling I'm gonna love this come summer time! This is inspired by the Evil Queen.

Ocean Mist. 2 Coats. Glass fleck green with gold. This is my absolute favorite color of the entire collection! It really looks a lot like Zoya Apple (I will definitely have to do a comparison post!) but I don't really care because this color is absolutely beautiful and it was so much easier to apply than its Zoya counterpart. Very happy with this color! This is inspired by Ariel, The Little Mermaid

Diva of the Deep. 2 coats. Deep purple with gold shimmer. This color applied so nicely and its so beautiful. It definitely is reminiscent of Ursula, whom this polish is inspired by. This is one of my favorites from the collection and I'm sure I will get tons of use out of it!!

Overall, these polishes were wonderful to work with. There is no dud among them formula wise. The only thing for me are the reds (I just don't like how reds look on me) and The Mistress of Evil. I feel like that should have been a green or something because of Maleficent's color. Its still a beautiful polish and I know I will get use out of it!

Next, I'll be showing you the quads I bought and some swatches of those :D

Enchanted Kiss Quad. This is the neutral quad offered in this collection. All colors are great. I think I'll probably get a lot of everyday use from this!

Midnight Hour Quad. This is the "smoky" quad. Really pretty colors and pretty well pigmented. This is more of a "going out" look for me. Still love it!

Swatches of both:

Overall I love all the things Disney has to offer in this new cosmetics line. They have said they have many collections releasing and I'm really excited to see what other colors come out in the future!!
