12 Days of Christmas: Day 8 - Icy Mixed Mani

Today's Christmas post is a mixed manicure with an icy theme. Snow, Snowflakes, and a snow man! :) Below I list everything I used.

Sunlight

Shade

Pictured above is everything I used: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in Silver Sweep, Color Club Factory Girl, Color Club Cold Metal, China Glaze Lorelai's Tiara, China Glaze White on White, China Glaze Snow Globe, Wet n' Wild Black Creme, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Sun Kissed, Sinful Colors Queen of Beauty, NYC Starry Silver Glitter (Just used the blue glitter to accent a couple of nails), Salon Express Image Plate SE20.

I really love this mixed mani. It took me forever to do, though. I got a lot of inspiration from Cute Polish on YouTube and the rest I just played with until I liked how it looked. I really love this!! What do you guys think? Any tips and tricks to nail art? I'm fairly new at it... still just experimenting.

Thanks for reading, until next time!

30 Days of Untrieds - Day 25

Today's untried is a new color. Its from the Wet n' Wild Color Icon Ice Baby collection exclusively at Walgreens.

Its All in the Cut. 2 coats. Small light purple glitter with medium sized light pink glitter. This is really pretty. I don't really think I'll wear it much, despite the fact that its pretty. Its just not really a "me" color. I might use it for layering or something like that, but I'm not sure. The formula is great. 2 easy coats for full opacity and it dried very fast. I really love these Color Icon polishes overall, though!

30 Days of Untrieds - Day 10

Another color from Wet n' Wild's Ice Baby Holiday 2011 collection exclusive to Walgreens... can I just say I really love the 3 colors I got from this collection! Makes me want to go buy more.

Back Alley Deals. 3 coats. Small purple glitter with medium magenta glitter. Holy hell! I love this!! I love this way more than I thought I would. First coat was sheer but it dried very fast and built up so effortlessly. Love that!!! I definitely want to get more of these... I might just break my no-buy for it... we'll see!

30 Days of Untrieds - Day 8

Today's untried post is a Wet n' Wild color. This is from Wet n' Wild's 2011 Ice Baby holiday collection. The collection is available exclusively at Walgreens. I picked up 3 of these colors including a dupe for China Glaze Some Like it Haute (see comparison here). I also have one more color that I will be putting up on another untrieds day. Anyways, enough with the rambling on to the pictures:

Cost Is No Issue. 3 coats. Clear base loaded with light blue tiny glitter and cornflower blue medium glitter. In some lights, the light blue looks like its a teal color, which is totally cool with me! I like this a lot more than I though I would, actually. Very pleased! The formula was great. First coat was a little sheer but it dries fast and its very easy to build up. Overall, fantastic polish!

Haul!

Its 11 pm and I just got home from a day of work, class, shopping and movies :). Today was a good nail shopping day. I went to Walgreens, Ross, and a local nail supply store. Check out my haul for the day:

3 Wet n' Wild Color Icon glitters, 4 China Glaze Eye Candy collection colors, Ross set of Back to Boho of the darker colors, a few misc. China Glaze colors and Jade is the New Black from OPI. I didn't buy all of the Wet n' Wild or Eye Candy colors because I didn't like the other colors and I know I won't use them so on my college student budget, its not practical to buy entire collections just to have them. Anyways, I'm really excited to swatch these. I'll have these up in the next few days. Which one of these would you like to see first? Let me know in a comment and I'll do my best to get it done ASAP! Until next time!
