30 Days of Untrieds - Day 30

Well, I've reached the last day of the untried challenge. Its been really fun discovering things within my own stash that are new and exciting, at least to me... haha!

Pure Ice Risk Taker. 3 coats. This is a hard color to explain... its a taupey/silvery/bronzey color. Its really strange but its fantastic! Definitely fantastic! I don't really know why I haven't worn this before because its gorgeous! I have a lot of stamping/layering ideas for this color! :) yaaaay

Well, I hope you have all enjoyed taking this untrieds journey with me! I'm sure I'll try this again in about a year or so... I seem to be accumulating polish more than I can try it these days.... Sad, but true!

Today's next to last untried is a color from Sally Hansen.

Time to Shine. 3 coats. Bronze shimmery color. This is gorgeous. I bought this on a whim a couple months ago and I really love it! I'm happy I got it :) There's not too much more I can say about it other than its so pretty!

Today's untried is an OPI core collection color... and its a pink that I LOVE *shock*

Princesses Rule. OMG this color is fantastic... now I don't normally say things like with colors like this because its pink but well... look at it! That and the fact that I have a teeny obsession with Disney and Disney Princesses... this just reminds me of Disney.... this screams Disney... therefore its fantastic! This is actually a pink I'll wear on my fingers *gasp!* Thanks to this challenge, I finally realized its fantastical!!

Today's post is a color from Color Club's Back to Boho Collection. One of my favorites from the collection, actually now that I've tried it.

Voodoo You Do. 2 coats. Gunmetal Grey. I love, love, love, love, LOVE this! Its perfect. Application was wonderful and Its just an awesomly, perfect color! So glad I finally got around to trying it.

Today's untried post is one that I've had for a while but I never got around to trying because its a red.

Seche Red. I got this from a kit with Seche Clear, Seche Vite, and Seche Erase and I never got around to trying it. I really just needed Seche Vite and the entire kit was $8, so I figured it was a fantastic deal. It goes on really smoothly and its the perfect cherry red creme. I actually like this and I'm wearing it on my toes right now. Its the perfect pedicure color despite my dislike of reds... haha!

30 Days of Untrieds - Day 25

Today's untried is a new color. Its from the Wet n' Wild Color Icon Ice Baby collection exclusively at Walgreens.

Its All in the Cut. 2 coats. Small light purple glitter with medium sized light pink glitter. This is really pretty. I don't really think I'll wear it much, despite the fact that its pretty. Its just not really a "me" color. I might use it for layering or something like that, but I'm not sure. The formula is great. 2 easy coats for full opacity and it dried very fast. I really love these Color Icon polishes overall, though!

Today's post is another color from Essie's new Luxeffects collection... a gold flakie!

Essie As Gold As It Gets. 2 coats over 1 coat Wet n Wild Black Creme. Gold Flakie. I really like this and I have some awesome holiday ideas for this :) I'm glad I was able to find this one last bottle at my nail supply place! Shine of the Times is still my favorite from this collection, but this is definitely gorgeous!

Today's color is yet another China Glaze color... and its a color I don't see myself wearing often...sadly...

China Glaze Thataway. 3 coats. Orange with yellow shimmer. This color is really pretty but I'm not a fan of red or orange on my fingers. This is going to be a toe color... I really do like it, though its just not something I would wear... Oh well... you win some, you lose some!

Today's untried is from the China Glaze Anchors Away collection. I recently got a bunch of colors from this because they were on sale... and I'm very glad I did!

China Glaze Pelican Gray. Concrete colored grey with a slight white pearly/shimmery finish. This color is so simple yet so complex, its fantastical! It really reminds of a sidewalk though, in the color... I don't really mind though :) Its a really pretty gray and grays have been growing on me this fall. :)

30 Days of Untrieds - Day 16

Today's color is from my absolute favorite drugstore line. Sally Hansen Insta Dri!

Emerald Express. 2 coats. Shimmery emerald. It has almost a metallic feel to it and I wouldn't be surprised if there was some sort of metallic element used to make it. Anyways, I've said this over and over again but I love the Insta-Dri line. It dries fast and it doesn't take a bunch of coats to look good... a few of them only need one coat. I very much like this color!

Today's untried is another blue from Sally Hansen.

Blu. No that's not a typo, its spelled Blu, like Blu-Ray. 4 coats. Shimmery blue. All I have to say about this is the formula is horrendous. This was 4 coats and I think it still looks terrible. Maybe it will look better if I layer it over a blue but I really hate this on its own. Oh well, you win some, you lose some.

30 Days of Untrieds - Day 14

Happy Sunday Evening everyone! Sorry I didn't post yesterday, I worked at 6:45 am and after work I went to Disneyland to check out the Christmas stuff :)

Today's color is another Sally Hansen Xtreme wear that I've had for almost a year and haven't gotten around to wearing it yet.

Bubblegum Pink. 3 coats. Bubblegum pink creme with a pearly micro shimmer/finish. Its hard to explain but there is definitely a slight shimmer to this color that is absolutely gorgeous! I'm not much for wearing pink on my fingers like I've said over and over on this blog and I really don't like this on my fingers. Maybe on my toes it will be better. The formula was a bit streaky even at 3 coats but its alright. Its pretty enough that I can get over it.

Good morning and happy Black Friday! I refuse to go Black Friday shopping, I just don't do well with crowds... I'll just be hitting a drugstore or two a little later looking for the new Essie Luxeffects. Other than that, I work later tonight and I'm not looking forward to it. Hopefully by 5:30 no one will want to be shopping *fingers crossed* Anyways on to today's Untried from OPI:

Bling Dynasty. 3 coats. Yellow (almost mustardy) gold. I like this color as a color but I hate this on my skin tone. I don't know, I could be wrong but it just looks odd on me. I really wanted to like this on my nail because I really like it in the bottle, but alas I guess it wasn't meant to be!

30 Days of Untrieds - Day 12

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving!! Hope everyone has a great day filled with friends, family and food! My family is going the non-traditional route this year and we're not having turkey (thank goodness, I hate turkey). Instead, we're having an Argentinian barbecue and empanadas (meat pies, so good!). I'm really excited for dinner tonight!

Anyways, on to today's untried color which is from the Milani 3D Holographic line:

HD. 3 coats. Grainy holographic silver. I love this. This is one of two holographic silvers I own. The other is Color Club Worth the Risque. This is much grainier than WTR but I actually like this because it feels glitterier (yes, that's a word). My pictures only capture the holographic glitter but in certain lights, it does become a grainy linear holographic effect. The formula was pretty good. Overall, these Milani 3D Holographic colors are a little sheer but build up very nicely. I no own the entire collection and I love them all!!!

Today's untried is my favorite color from the Color Club Back to Boho Collection that I recently got at Ross:

Nouveau Vintage. 2 coats. Brown/Bronze color with green duochrome. This color is so pretty! At first it reminded me of Warm and Fozzie but its much darker and Warm and Fozzie doesn't have the green duochrome. I really love how this color looks on me!! Yay for another happy untried blog post!
