Color Club Halo Hues Collection

Hey everyone!

I know its been a couple weeks, been busy! But I AM making an effort to blog more :). So today I went to my favorite nail supply place and I found the Halo Hues (#1) Collection from Color Club. Pictures/Thoughts below!

Harp on It - 2 Coats.
Silver Holographic. I died and went to heaven. These colors really are amazing. I don't think I'll be able to say much about any of them other than AMAZING!

Angel Kiss - 2 Coats.
Seafoam Green Holographic. My favorite of these because its green! Do I really need to say much more? *drools*

Cherubic - 2 coats
Nude Halographic. This is my second favorite because I love the base color. Its really pretty and neutral in the shade, but it looks like this in the sun. Its amazing.

Halo-graphic - 2 coats
Pink Holographic. Its beautiful, and I don't even like pink! Its a very pretty pink though.

Cloud Nine - 2 Coats
Lavender purple holographic. I really love this one... it looks pink in certain light and purple in others but its still wonderfully holographic.

Blue Heaven - 2 coats.
This one is kinda weird, only because it looks silver most of the time unless you look closely. I do still like it, I just wish it was a deeper blue.

I made a haul video where I show these guys in the bottles in the sun, so if you're interested in that, check it out below:

The formula on these was great. 2 coats was enough for full coverage. Was a breeze to apply all of the colors and I'm just overall in love with these and I can't wait to get my hands on the second set very soon!

Claire's - Night Sky

Today's post is a dark holo glitter that I bought on a whim at Claire's and I'm sooo glad I did!

Artificial Light

Natural Light
Night Sky is a gorgeous deep blue microglitter in a clear base with chunky holo glitter throughout. 3 coats. 2 of the pictures above are blurred to show the holo. The holo glitter on this is really strong. The only issue I have with this is that its really goopey and think. I will probably thin it next time I wear it. Other than that, this color is fantastic! I love dark holos!

Color Club - Revvvolution

This is a color I've wanted for a while and my nail supply place just got new Color Club racks and a whole new stock upgrade... so its in stock!

Color Club Revvvolution. Charcoal base with grainy holo running throughout. This is 1 1/2 coats. I say 1 1/2 cause some of my nails only have one coat and others have a little bit of a evening out coat. So yeah, I pretty much love this color, just like I was hoping I would!!! I'm so glad I finally found it and I didn't have to pay for shipping :) yay!!! I guess it was my lucky day!

12 Days of Christmas: Day 10 - Fireside Glow

So my second post of the day (as promised) is the other Ulta exclusive China Glaze glitter!

Sunlight

Shade

Bottle <3
Fireside Glow. China Glaze Ulta exclusive. Copper glitter with holo glitter. Formula-wise this is the same as      ULTAmate Holiday 2 coater, but gritty and topcoat hungry. This one isn't as packed with the holo as Ultamate Holiday is, but its sill gorgeous! I'm really liking this to wear during the summer... let's see if I still feel that way when summer actually hits haha! What do you think of these Ulta exclusive glitters? Leave me a comment below if you have these!

Thanks for reading, until next time!

12 Days of Christmas: Day 9 - ULTAmate Holiday!

Good morning!
I'm so, so sorry I missed a day yesterday. I worked from 7 am to 12 pm and then I went shopping then I came home and had to decorate a tree and the living room since we finally got our 12' x 8' window fixed from the freak wind storm that hit my area at the beginning of December... I literally didn't have any time!

So since I was so flaky yesterday with blog posts, I'm making it up to you today by bringing you two posts!! Let's get started with the first one:
Sunlight
Sunlight

Shade

holo glitter nom!

Bottle <3 SO PRETTY!
ULTAmate Holiday. China Glaze Ulta exclusive. Gold glitter PACKED with holo glitter. Formula was great, only 2 coats for full opacity. This is a really rough, hungry glitter so prepare to pack on the top coat!

I can't even express how much I love this and I wouldn't even know about it if it wasn't for Traci at The Trace Face Philes. Even though there is an Ulta within walking distance from my house, I hardly ever go because I found a nail supply place that sells nail polish dirt cheap but as soon as I saw these on Traci's blog I had to go run out and get them and I'm so happy I did! I only go this and Fireside Glow. The Polishaholic did a comparison for Mistletoe Me here and I decided that since it looks exactly like Hot Like Lava from the Foiled collection, I didn't need it.

If you can still find this, you should definitely get it! I went back to Ulta yesterday to buy one more of each of this and Fireside Glow for a swap and they still have a ton! :)

Thanks for reading, until next time!

30 Days of Untrieds - Day 12

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving!! Hope everyone has a great day filled with friends, family and food! My family is going the non-traditional route this year and we're not having turkey (thank goodness, I hate turkey). Instead, we're having an Argentinian barbecue and empanadas (meat pies, so good!). I'm really excited for dinner tonight!

Anyways, on to today's untried color which is from the Milani 3D Holographic line:

Sunlight

Sunlight
HD. 3 coats. Grainy holographic silver. I love this. This is one of two holographic silvers I own. The other is Color Club Worth the Risque. This is much grainier than WTR but I actually like this because it feels glitterier (yes, that's a word). My pictures only capture the holographic glitter but in certain lights, it does become a grainy linear holographic effect. The formula was pretty good. Overall, these Milani 3D Holographic colors are a little sheer but build up very nicely. I no own the entire collection and I love them all!!!

30 Days of Untrieds - Day 3

Today's untried is a pink holo that I got not too long ago!

Sunlight

Sunlight

Shade
Milani Digital. 3 coats. Pink with grainy holo effect. I really love this. I'm not much for wearing pink/red on my fingers but I reallllyy love this! From previous experience with the other Milani 3D holographics, these tend to be a little on the sheer side but they build up very nicely. I'm really impressed with this Milani line... doesn't hurt that they're holo :)!

Sally Hansen Night Lights

Today's post is a beautiful holographic color. The first holographic I ever owned and the one that made me obsessed with holographics. Check it out:

Sunlight

Sunlight

Bottle Picture, blurred to show sparkle.
Night Lights. 4 coats. Smoky grey base loaded with holographic glitter. This is so very, very sheer. It needs to be worn over something. I usually wear it either over black or a smoky silver kind of color. This is a not safe for driving kind of a color... I just wanna stare at its pretty-ness. This is also the only nail polish that I have a backup of because its just that awesomesauce!

Thanks for reading, until next time!

Color Club Worth the Risque

Happy Halloween!! My post today isn't very Halloween-ish but check out the links below for Halloween collection swatches!

It's Alive
Haunting Pumpkin Spce
China Glaze Haunting Collection
Zom-body To Love
Enjoy! Now on to today's post:

Today's post is a holographic color!

Color Club Worth the Risque. 2 coats. Silver holographic microglitter. I've been looking for this color for a while and I ended up finding one last bottle at my nail polish place. I've actually wanted a silver holographic for a while and I'm so glad I found this. Its really pretty and pictures don't do it justice, its much more vibrant and holographic in person. Yay for holographic polishes!
