A quick NOTD

Hey guys!

So I promised to try to blog more so here's a quick NOTD I did today in between homework and now running out to go to tech for the show I'm working on!

This is Orly Rage with a Model's Own Pink Fizz Accent nail. I love the Model's Own color. I got it a while ago in a swap with Rachel from Polished Criminails, and I love all my Model's Own polishes... thanks Raych!!! :D

Anyways, thanks for reading and I gotta run off to tech rehearsal now!

Barry M Lilac Foil

Today is more from my international swap with Raych @ Polished Criminails! (Again with the band-aid... swatched this on the same day as the others after I had cut my pinky!)

Natural Light - Direct Sunlight

Natural Light - Shade

Artificial Light
Barry M Lilac Foil. 2 coats. This is a lilac foil, just as the name implies. I love this. LOVE this. This is another one of the ones that Raych picked up for me and once she told me I looked it up and was floored by the swatches so I couldn't wait to get my hot little hands on it. I love how lilacs look on my skin tone and the fact that this is a foil makes it look even better! I want to get more of the Barry M foils now!

Thanks for reading, until next time!

China Glaze Harvest Moon

Hello! Today's post is another China Glaze Hunger Games collection color :) and its a really pretty one!

Natural Light

Artificial Light

Harvest Moon from China Glaze. 2 coats. Coppery-Bronze Metallic :) I'm kind of in love with this color. It looks great on my skin tone and its a really fun summer color. I wasn't originally going to buy this but I thought 'what the hell' and I bought it thinking that I would probably sell it or swap it... nope! This one is staying safe in my helmer. I love it.

Thanks for reading! Until next time!

30 Days of Untrieds - Day 17

Well, everything is slowly coming back on track after this weekend's ridiculous wind storm. My house is still half without power and all that but trees and light poles are starting to be picked up all over the area and many areas are beginning to get power again. Anyways on to today's untried.... Hopefully starting today I can get back on track with all of this...

Another metallic foil color in today's untried post:

Sunlight

Shade
China Glaze Swing Baby. 3 coats. Foil taupey base with micro silver glitter. I love this color. I'm really starting to love foil colors lately. I had my eye on this color for a while and I finally bought it. I'm so glad I did! Love it.

Color Club Foiled Collection Swatches and Review

I know I'm a little late to jump on the bandwagon of this collection but I finally got around to picking it up at Ross so here are my pictures and reviews:

Sunlight (overcast)

Shade
Perfect Mol-ten. 2 coats. Silvery green. I love this! It reminds me of a foil sea foam green kind of color. Its so pretty!!

Sunlight
Lumin-icecent. 2 coats. Pale icy blue. My camera picked this up as silver but its a very, very pale blue. I wish this color was more like a non-crackle version of China Glaze's Oxidized Aqua because it just looks silver in most lights and I already have a few silver foils.

Sunlight

Shade
Foil Me Once. 2 coats. Light pink foil. Pretty but a shade I probably won't wear alone too much... don't usually wear pinks on my fingers.

Sunlight

Shade
Antiquated. 2 coats. Champagney/light bronze and under certain light you can see a strong flash of the silver base

Sunlight

Shade
Hot Like Lava. 2 Coats. HOT pink/magenta. As much as pinks don't usually catch my attention, I love this one so much!!

Sunlight

Cold Metal. 2 coats. True blue foil. This color is really saturated and the silver foil base almost looks like silver glitter in this color. Very pretty!

Overall, this collection is pretty fantastic. The formula was fantastic on every single one of them. 2 easy coats and on some of them, I could have gotten away with only one coat. The only color I'm a little disappointed in is Lumin-icecent, I wish it had a little more color to it so it didn't look so silver. Overall I'm very, very happy with all of these!

Thanks for reading, until next time!
