"Confetti" Glitters comparison.

Good morning on this beautiful rainy So-Cal morning! I have a blogger dilemma today. I LOVE the rain and cold, but that also means there's no sunshine meaning no light to swatch :( I have so much to swatch too! Enough complaining on to today's post:

Today's post is a comparison of 4 different glitters. They're all multi-colored "confetti" glitter.

Index (and bottle): OPI Rainbow Connection from the Muppets Collection
Middle: Milani Gems
Ring: Bedazzled from Claire's
Pinky: Snowman multi color glitter from Rite Aid
(I have 4 of the Snowman glitters from this year to show you... Swatches coming soon!)

3 coats each. I think my favorite is actually Bedazzled from Claire's. It had the best coverage in 3 coats. Rainbow Connection, Bedazzled and Gems are all multi color, multi size and multi shaped glitters, the Snowman multicolor glitter is multicolor, same sized glitter. They are all really pretty and I'm fairly certain they are all close dupes for Deborah Lippmann's Happy Birthday (Which is at least twice as expensive as any of these). Do any of you own Happy Birthday? What do you think? I love multi-color glitters!!

OPI Designer... de Better!

Another color from the OPI Muppets collection:

Sunlight

Shade
OPI Designer... de Better! 3 Coats. Silvery/bronzy foil base with rust-colored flecks. I didn't want this at first because I never noticed the flecks. When I finally got around to seeing this in person, I had to have it. Its so pretty!

Currently on my nails: Concrete Catwalk, Tinsel Town

Here's my current manicure:

Sunlight

Shade
China Glaze Concrete Catwalk with CG Tinsel Town accent nail. 2 coats of Concrete Catwalk, 1 coat of Tinsel Town. Its supposed to rain and be cold starting tomorrow in Southern California (finally!) so I figured I would do a fall manicure. I really like this combination! Its fall and yet its sparkly... so its perfect!

I'm super excited for cold weather! Its about time!!

Currently on my nails: Slick Slate, CG in the City

Just finished my recent mani. Not entirely sure if I like it but I'm tired and I don't really feel like re-doing my nails so here it is: (also, sorry for the weird picture but it is 8 pm so I gotta use my desk lamp as a light source)

1 coat Sally Hansen Insta Dri in Slick Slate as a base with 2 coats China Glaze CG in the City on top. CG in the City is a charcoal base loaded with black, orange and smoky purple glitter while Slick Slate is a taupe color that is a very close dupe for famed Sephora by OPI color Metro Chic. I do like this but I'm not sure if I like it enough on me. We'll see if it grows on me. Until tomorrow, Goodnight!

OPI Excuse Moi!

Happy November! Its officially holiday season in my book :) Except for working retail, I love this time of the year.

When I got the other 3 Muppets glitters (Divine SwineFresh Frog of Bel Air, and Gone Gonzo) they were out of this glitter but I finally got my hands on it. Check out the magic:

Sunlight

Shade
OPI Excuse Moi! 3 coats. Pink base with multicolor glitter. So beautiful. Unlike the other glitters in this collection, This is an full coverage glitter that can be worn on its own (yay!). This is my favorite glitter from the collection because of that reason. This is probably a toe color for me since I generally don't do pinks on my fingers but its so unique I may end up wearing it. I wear Katy Perry Teenage Dream on my fingers because its fantastic so I may very well wear this on my fingers. Its beautiful. And here's a mandatory bottle picture to show the multi-colored gorgeousness:
