NOTD: Neon + Stamping

Hey everyone!

Today's NOTD was something I came by by accident. I knew I wanted to do something neon because I'm obsessed with neons lately (check out my Summer Neon Gradient Tutorial) so I just started painting my nails with the green, but I had this idea to stamp a neon over white to see what it would look like.... this is what I came up with.

For this manicure I used China Glaze Kiwi Cool-ada, Sally Hansen Whirlwind White, and China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy to stamp with. I actually really like how this turned out! I used one of the Salon Express stamping plates for the flower design.

What do you think? Are you obsessed with any types of shades lately?

Thanks for reading!

Back to School manicure: Mermaid's Tears w/ Stranger Tides

So, today is the first day back to class... luckily I don't have class until 1:30 so I have some down time... what better way to kill time then a mani/pedi? :) Here's what I got on today:

OPI Mermaid's Tears. Base Coat, 2 coats, Seche Vite Topcoat.
Ring Finger: Stranger Tides polka dots
With Flash

OPI Mermaid's Tears. Base Coat, 2 coats, Seche Vite Topcoat.
Ring Finger: Stranger Tides polka dots
No Flash

I love the murky colors in the OPI Pirates of the Carribean collection and these 2 are my absolute favorites. The formula is great, really opaque and creamy. Quick dry time especially with Seche Vite.

On my toes is my favorite for this summer, Flip Flop Fantasy from China Glaze... only about a month left in the official summer season so as long as its hot in So-Cal... I will be wearing this color!!!

Currently on my nails: Age of Aquarius, Flip Flop Fantasy

Here's what I'm wearing today:

Age of Aquarius by Color Club with a (no name) turquoise glitter from L.A. Colors on the accent nail.  Basecoat + 2 coats of Age of Aquarius + 1 coat of glitter on accent nail + Out the Door Topcoat. The color isn't really showing up that color accurate. There's a lot more green in the color than it looks here. Both colors I absolutely love! The L.A. Colors was a little thick but after thinning it out some it works fantastic.

On my toes is this little beauty. Flip Flop Fantasy by China Glaze. 3 coats + Out the Door topcoat. A neon coral-pink. I've worn this color on my toes almost for the entire last month. After taking off my last current color (which was Yellow Polka Dot Bikini also by China Glaze) I instantly knew that I wanted this color back on. Its so vibrant and perfect for summer. It makes my skin tone look fantastic. I love this!!!

That's it for now!
